What’s the difference between a la carte & full-service wedding florals?
By following a “designers choice” ethos and offering simple drop-off delivery or pick up from our studio or shop, we are able to create pieces in our signature aesthetic, using the best seasonal blooms we have available without our usual minimum spend for full-service weddings. Our A la Carte offerings are perfect for those who are planning a simple affair and aren’t too fussed about the specifics. No meetings or lengthy back and forth emails or planning is required. You order only what you need from our online A la Carte wedding shop, choose your colour palette from the drop down menu during the check out process and we'll get to work creating a cohesive collection of lush, romantic, garden-style florals for your big day. No fuss.
With this option, we aren’t able to offer tear down or rental services and all vases and vessels are purchased and yours to keep. Keep this in mind when working out the logistics of your event.
Can I order something not listed in the a la carte wedding shop?
Items that are not listed in our A la Carte shop (altar decor, pew markers, etc.) are not available as additions as they require more specialized transport or on-site set up.
Can you accommodate special requests?
Definitely! If you have a reasonable special request in regards to colour palette or slight style preferences, or a favourite/not favourite flower, we will do our absolute best to accommodate. It is your wedding after all - kinda a big deal! If your request can’t be accommodated, we’ll give you a heads up to let you know. If your request is a deal breaker, it’s probably best to contact us prior to ordering so we can assure we can accommodate it as all a la carte orders are non-refundable.
How much notice do you need for a la carte orders?
We’d like at least a week notice for any a la carte order. While we do utilize flowers we already have in shop for a la carte orders, we do like to add special touches and ensure we have blooms that will hold up well for events. That often means we need a little time to make sure we can source what we need.
Is the A la Carte Wedding Shop only for weddings or can I order for other events as well?
You bet! We often have customers order from our a la carte shop for other celebrations such as birthday parties, dinner parties, showers and smaller corporate events. Let us know when you order what the shindig is for and we’ll adjust our design to suit.
