Danielle & Trevor - Polygon Gallery
After 2+ years of waiting, we finally got to flower Danielle & Trevors fall wedding at Polygon Gallery. Danielle wanted their guests, many of whom were coming from the east coast of the US, to have a cozy, elevated, wild west coast experience. With the stunning views of the Burrard Inlet and downtown Vancouver and the gallery white walls of the Polygon, we went in with wild trailing greenery panels suspended from the high ceilings. For the ceremony altar, we wanted to create a focal while complimenting the view. We attached loose smilax vines and berried italian ruscus to modern geometric metal posts which were then repurposed for lounge decor during the reception.
Danielle carried a refined but still loose and soft bouquet of white dahlias, cappucino roses, Playa blanca roses and butterfly ranunculus.
We decked out the cocktail hour with a few statement arrangements filled with cafe au lait dahlias, roses and Trevor’s favourite terracotta celosia, sourced from our friends at River & Sea Flower Farm in Richmond.
On the long harvest tables, we did low and lush garden style centrepieces in neutral ivory and white with pops of toffee and caramel brown to warm up the palette and give a nod to the fall season.
