Kat & Ryan - Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds

Long-time client turned friend turned one of the BVFC team: Kat, tied the knot with her partner Ryan in 2018. Kat came to us knowing she wanted playful colour and a nod to a classic English garden aesthetic given the venue. Their summertime date afforded us the opportunity to use dahlias, garden roses, blush asters, zinnias, flowering vines and chamomile.

Kat’s bridesmaids carried gold floral hoops to compliment Kat’s lush and romantic bouquet. Ryan and the groomsmen wore boutonnieres, each a little bit different.

Rain kept the ceremony under the glass greenhouse ceiling, surrounded by tall tropical plants. We decorated the iron arch frame with cafe au lait dahlias, ranunculus, scented geranium and zinnias and draped it with blush fabric.

On the guest tables were romantic and colourful arrangements in white-washed wood boxes and white stone compote vases. We scattered low and lush arrangements and bud vases filled with single blooms down the length of the head table.
