Full Serve FAQ
A few things!
Full service offers a fully custom design concept where the clients desires for specific flowers/colours are all considered. Detailed delivery, on-site set up and design, and end of the night tear down as well as in person site visits, vessel rental, mock ups and consultations are all offered with full service contracts. Minimum spend for Full Service Wedding Florals is $5000.
A la Carte includes the beautifully designed florals we're known for, without the added logistical services. A la Carte orders are ordered via our website where you can add the items needed to cart, select pick up or delivery and our team will take care of the rest. We use the best in-season flowers that fit the overall aesthetic and colour palette selected. All vases are included and items are packaged for gentle transport and include clear instructions for care. In order to accommodate A la Carte orders without the higher pricetag of reserving us for your date, we don't offer on-site design or set up and because the vases are included in your purchase, there's no need to arrange for return of anything after the big day!
First step is to inquire and book a discovery call with us. We'll have you fill out an intake form at time of booking so we can make sure we are both a good fit, and available for your date.
During our call, we'll gather the information needed for us to send you a detailed quote which will be send via email. Once you are ready to reserve us for your date, you can sign our booking contract and pay our non-refundable booking deposit to confirm your booking. We'll give you a breakdown of the next steps and milestone dates along the way of the process so you'll be fully in the know of what to expect.
Most of our in-depth work will occur in the 6-8 weeks leading up to your event as we will have a better idea of all the details and what seasonal blooms will be available to us at this time but prior to this, we will be hard at work behind the scenes dreaming up something incredible for your big day.
Every clients wishes are unique so we customize our full serve offerings to fit your specific needs. The traditional items such as table centrepieces, bouquets, boutonnieres and ceremony arrangements are all available. Our design and styling team will be on-site to create florals that break the mold like larger scale installations, beautifully created ceremony altars and aisles, and lush tablescapes for your guest tables
We are keen to collaborate with your other vendors (i.e. planners, photographers, venue, decor, etc.), and provide in person consultations and regular email communication, design mock ups and/or venue visits to make sure your florals are the most beautiful on the day, and least stressful process leading up to.
We offer detailed delivery and set up services, making sure your florals are where you need them to be, when you need them there and look their best. Our extensive inventory of vases, vintage elements and related decor is available to our full serve clients or we will assist in sourcing these items if needed. We also provide strike or tear-down services at the end of the night.
The full serve weddings process is a collaborative one. We want to get to know your personal tastes and aesthetic so that we can do what we do best: create a custom floral vision that speaks to who you are as a couple and what you want to feel on your wedding day. Our design concepts are dreamed up by our talented design team. We glean inspiration from everywhere: always maintaining our elevated English garden aesthetic but incorporating references from design trends in fashion, interior design and history throughout. We take your personal aesthetic, the style of the venue and the overall feel of your event into careful consideration through this process.
While we definitely want to know what flowers you like and don't like, our process requires our clients to give us creative freedom in that department. We do this for a living and know the ins and outs of what flowers are best suited for specific designs and how to mix different tones of blooms to create a dimensional colour palette. Saying "no yellow" when a touch of yellow is exactly what a design needs to pull out the warmer tones of a neutral palette design would be such a shame! We'll work together to make sure your wedding flowers are incredible.
Our full serve weddings start at a $5000 minimum spend. We have put together a Full Serve Weddings Pricing Guide to give you an estimated range of pricing to expect. Our couples typically dedicate between 10-15% of their total wedding budget to floral (i.e. a $75K wedding would have a $7500-11K floral spend). This is very dependant on your specific needs though: guest count, bridal party size, reception style, venue size and logistics and time of year all play a role as well.
We take on a limited number of Full Serve weddings per season and typically we book out 12-9 months out from peak wedding season (June - October) and 9-6 months out from off-season dates (Nov - May).
Occasionally we have free dates during peak season up to 4 months out so please don't hesitate to reach out if you are outside of those timelines. We cannot book weddings more than 12 months out from the date.
Please note, we do not accept weddings on the week of Valentines Day (February 14th) or Mother's Day (2nd weekend in May) due to volume at our retail shop.
